After hearing about Open Top Tours from Karl Dias & having our friends come to visit us from Oakville,Ont just last week.The Valley tour was top priority on our “Bucket List”…what better way to experience a wine tour than in an Open Top Jeep with a great tour guide named Mel. Mel was professional, laid back and gave us no pressure. He took us to some hidden aeras we’ve never been & gave us time to experience the incredible views. I’ve never even heard of Halls Harbour but soon discovered it’s beauty. With many wonderful stops along the way,we had an amazing late afternoon lunch followed by two wine tasting tours!
Glen, myself and our friends Dan & Maureen from Oakville highly recommend Open Top tours.

A couple weeks ago, I visited Nova Scotia for the first time. I was a little disappointed that there wasn’t a feasible way to see the historic Peggy’s Cove without renting a car, and I wasn’t about to leave Nova Scotia without experiencing it. That’s when I stumbled upon Open Top Tours. What an experience to drive through scenic Halifax, taking in the fresh air and insightful information from a knowledgeable tour guide. Our guide was extremely friendly and accommodating, customizing our tour and making stops wherever we asked to. We stopped at bakery on the way back downtown from Peggy’s Cove to have a bite. Just a great way to cap off a beautiful day. Would recommend this to anyone looking to get a little bit more out of their trip out East. I am excited to watch this business grow – what an enjoyable expereince.
